🪖 Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The Agniveer Recruitment 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme involves a two-phase selection process: an online exam followed by a recruitment rally. Only candidates who successfully clear both phases will proceed toward final enrollment.
Phase I – Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE)

Phase II – Recruitment Rally (Physical & Medical Assessment)
Shortlisted candidates from Phase I will attend the Recruitment Rally organized by Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) at designated rally venues. Phase II consists of the following:
1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Candidates must pass the standard physical fitness tests as per Army requirements.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Measurements such as height, chest, and weight will be recorded.

Region-based and category-wise relaxations are allowed with valid documents.
3. Adaptability Test

Tests the candidate’s ability to adapt to Army life and environment.

Conducted on a tablet or mobile device, with no fixed syllabus.

Only candidates who clear this stage move to the medical examination.
4. Medical Examination

Conducted by the Army Medical Team at the rally site as per Army standards.

Candidates declared unfit may undergo a review medical examination at a Military/Base/Command Hospital.

Final fitness decisions rest with Army medical authorities; no appeals are allowed after the review.

Guidelines for candidates:

Get a pre-rally medical check-up, especially for flat foot, vision, deformities.

Ensure ears are cleaned to avoid disqualification.

Contact lenses are not allowed.
-
If 270+ days elapse between screening and dispatch, medical exams will be repeated.

Important: Passing the medical exam does not guarantee recruitment, as final enrollment is subject to Army standards.
