The India Post has officially released the India Post GDS Result 2026 for the recruitment of 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts across the country. Candidates who submitted their online applications between 31 January 2026 and 14 February 2026 can now check their names in the first merit list published on 6 March 2026.
The selection of candidates has been done purely on the basis of marks obtained in the Class 10 examination, without any written examination.
Candidates who applied for GDS vacancies under the Assam Postal Circle can also check their selection status in the merit list.
