The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is an entrance exam organized by the Government of Assam for admission into various B.Tech programmes offered by engineering colleges in Assam. The examination will be conducted by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for the academic session 2026 – 2027.
ASTU released the official notification on 7th March 2026. Interested and eligible candidates who have passed or are appearing in the 10+2 examination can apply online for this examination.

🎓 Educational Qualification
- Candidates must pass the 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination in a single sitting.
- Must pass individually in both Theory and Practical subjects.
- Subjects must include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Minimum 45% marks required (40% for reserved categories).
Alternative Qualification:
- 3-year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 45% marks.
- B.Sc Degree with at least 45% marks and Mathematics in 10+2.

- Citizenship: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Assam (PRC required).
- Minimum Age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026.
- Maximum Age: No upper age limit.
- Character Certificate: Required from the last attended institution.
- Medical Fitness: Candidate must be physically and mentally fit.
